Alright we are one year in and things are moving kind of slow on the president front. They say people are pulling away from him though what I think is actually happening is people are getting sick of the snail's pace at which things are getting done. The big ideas the health care fixing the economy this is shit people want and the republicans are dragging their feet. When did it become more about party then about country? The country wants this the country needs this to help not only pull us out of this funk but to help out our populace give us our damn health care. We elected a president to take these ideas and run with them we elected a congress and now since we don't hold a 60 40 majority we can't get shit through it's still 59 41 who made up these stupid rules. Pull your head out of the sand and let's do this thing. The one hack I have so far on Obama is that in trying to unify a country he isn't getting shit done. Bush while I hated him pushed through everything he fought for and he was a moron how the hell can that happen? It's time to sit up and say you are with me or you are against me but damn it lets get some shit done.

There calling the debate a draw though really let's face it Palin didn't answer a damn question. I think expectations were so low she literally had to come out and fall off the stage or pull her skirt over her head and hide in order for her to not exceed public perception and expectations that were in place. Please don't take that as a shot at women I would have voted for Hilary in a heartbeat but this chick is a moron. They are not the same person and don't get fooled into thinking they are. She was well versed before the debate on what to and what not to say maybe they should have thought about that when she had to think on her feet in the Katie Couric interview want to see the real Sarah Palin go and watch that interview and see how quick she thinks on her feet it is a sight to be seen. We all love Tina Faye but they are not the same person (plus Tina is hotter watch baby momma) Ohh wait maybe they are the same person. She scares the shit out of me and should scare the shit out of you. She's going to get into office and go on a witch hunt with Rev. Muthee is that really what you want. You want to solve my problems when you can't even get the meth out of your own city as mayor, wanted to ban books, and succession from

I was just told smoking will kill me and while that's true it was by a little over weight boy. Why is it that in our society it's become bad to smoke but fine for you and your kids to grow so far over weight and out of shape? Do they not understand that there health is ten times more at risk then mine? And the parents that help perpetuate it are even worse give your kid a fucking apple for crist's sake. Stop filling him full of candy other other unhealthy ass foods. Get real. Do you not see that a seven year old shouldn't be round and 100 to 150 lbs. I'm not talking a little over weight I get that I'm talking on the way to morbidly obese and that's what the poor kid is. Do you say something like ohh I don't know drink some water eat an apple and get out and play you fat fucker. We teach our kids to finish there plates and it's good but you have to watch what's on those plates so they don't grow to be fat lazy pieces of shit who will be dead by 30 of heart disease. MySpace the end of the internet

Is MySpace the end of the internet? With so much weight being applied to your friends list’s and amount of friends you have and so many people using it to get their own “web page” is it killing the internet? So many people and bands and business that would have originally gone and designed their own pages now just shift over and start a MySpace page. I think it’s killing the internet the idea of creativity and the time and knowledge it takes to design a page well or even a simple page for you and your friends to go to instead now all we have is the same page over and over and over again for someone to throw ad’s up in the comment box. I did a redesign at http://www.wickedme.com and spent a lot of time and effort on it though the MySpace generation barely cares. Whatever happened to good old fashion art? The question was raised before when album covers became c.d. cover’s which now have become digital download covers. Though in the later case the art is actually bigger and better than before. What is happening to the time when people were creative? Were people would just create to create for the art of creation. I know some don’t think of the web as art but it takes a lot of time to find the right color’s and back grounds and run up a flash intro and things of that nature and if done right it can be very beautiful to look at. Is this the way everything is going low risk high reward? And if so what will become of the artist’s of today and tomorrow? The music industry is suffering but is it because of the internet and stolen songs or just that there aren’t enough musicians being heard? While MySpace claim’s to help promote those bands in all reality only the musicians search out the new music and then they don’t get to see a full and complete representation of the band only music light. What happened to the days were we immersed ourselves in the art of the day? The times were we would follow bands around or follow a product to its end. The internet should have given us a new level of access and originally it did but now it’s going the other way and it’s all about my buddy list. I miss the old days and had hopes for the new days but now feel we are moving in a creativity killing vacuum were nothing will be left. What is life without art? Where is the next phase of love and loyalty and not only our hopes, dreams and sorrow’s but the songs to bring us back to them? The first hearts break the first kiss the first fuck these are the sounds and art of our lives. I not only knew the songs but new everything about the band and why who sang them and I was loyal. Take those times and throw them into today and we could see so much more and love so much more Than we do today. The Authors of tomorrow are now blog writer’s for the instant “MySpace” gratification. Where has the art gone While I say that as I write this don’t think it’s the same I still work on websites and design of those along with music and other forms of art. The digital medium should have opened door’s instead I feel it has started to close them.

Alright first off let me start by saying I live in Nebraska and would lean to the democratic side but we are a red state so my vote doesn't matter. On that note let's get started.

1) While I am more for Hilary then for Obama I keep feeling like the voter's are the ones getting the shaft. The primaries in Florida and Michigan didn't count they just flat out didn't fucking count. How on god's green earth can this happen because they moved their primary there delegates don't get counted so 1.5 million democrat's voted in Florida and there voice has become null and void and why? That doesn't even include Michigan Hilary won both these states with by 17% and 15% respectively but honestly I don't give a shit who won it's the point that those votes are now not counted. So not only do we not have a popular vote election now delegates out of two states don't even get a say. What kind of a fucking democracy is that? It says here at stake Tuesday were 185 delegates umm isn't that a lot???? How does shit like this happen it is truly astounding that in this day and age a major chunk of the U.S. populace can just be cast aside like this?

2) Caucus – alright since when (yeah I know since it started) but why is this system still in place? Are you kidding me I had this discussion with my dad a very wise man though we very wildly on view's and belief's his response was it was so that people couldn't be strong armed into their vote and that goes the same for why there is delegates as well as not a popular vote. I just find this concept hard to fathom. I watched the Iowa caucus live on cnn and well it was the most strong arming and negative thing I have ever seen. Basically you collect the most middle class white folk you can find and throw them into a room and they count your hand's for the first vote if your candidate isn't considered "viable" meaning he doesn't get something like 15% of the vote they have a second vote and basically pull out the candidates until the lowest one is at 15% of the vote from these people in a fucking room. IS this democracy? Not only do not all the people get a say and a vote but the few who do are then thrown off their vote because not enough people share their affection for their candidate. If I want to vote for big bird or martin sheen because he did such a good job on the west wing damn it I should be able to and that vote should count. While they won't win at least I know that my vote mattered at this point I wonder if anyone's vote matter's at all. Don't believe me go look up Iowa caucus on Wikipedia and read up and then tell me this is fair and unbalanced. (In 04 124,000 Iowans voted in the caucus out of 2.9 million people does that seem like a likely number of voter's? And with no absentee ballots allowed no one serving in the military could vote.) Still don't believe me go read more on this archaic activity.

3) electoral college vs. popular vote – there have been 4 election's were the popular vote did not decide the election John Quincy Adams lost the popular vote to Andrew Jackson in 1824 (election was referred to the House of Representatives) Rutherford B Hayes lost the popular vote to Samuel Tilden in 1876 Grover Cleveland lost the popular vote to Benjamin Harrison in 1888, which interrupted his terms as presidency giving Cleveland the distinction of being the only president to serve non-consecutive terms George W. Bush lost the popular vote to Al Gore in 2000. While a lot of these weren't in our lifetimes one was and affected us greatly and sent to office what many people consider if not the one of the worst president's ever can you guess who that was? Then we wonder why gore wouldn't run again. Not to mention the simple fact of turn out Again I live in Nebraska which votes republican (something like 65%) meaning my vote counts for nothing no matter how hard I try. In a popular vote you get more people like me to get out there and vote for our candidate and have our voices heard without worrying that it doesn't make a difference any way which is how I feel. In 2000 gore won the popular vote by 543,895 votes yet lost the election umm that's not a little that's over half a million votes. There's something wrong with the system and it needs to be fixed. Want to talk more parity Edwards got more votes in Iowa but 1 less delegate????? In Nevada Clinton got 12 while obama got 13 yet Clinton won the popular vote by 6% what the hell is wrong here. Let's go on. New Hampshire Clinton wins by 3% yet her and obama get the same amount of delegates. While I have concentrated on the dem's the same goes for the republican's though there's at least goes by the winner the delegate system is just messed up.

4) Actual candidates do we have one? Let's start with obama and Clinton well there the same damn candidate the only difference is ones black and ones a female. Besides that there basically the same (though Hilary wants that damn fence) Edwards is like the ugly step child though I actually think I like him more than the other two (but Kucinich has a hot wife and see's ufo's so he was the coolest) now one by one

Romney – More incentives for oil companies (yeah like they need those), no health care (yeah I know raises taxes so what how many people out there can't go see a doctor.) immigration say's here biometric identification umm yeah sounds like something you would do to cattle to track them get this ass hole out of here next.

Huckabee – he's a preacher come on no evolution wants god back in the oval office, wants to change the constitution. To bring in god's rules. Ummm o.k. no no no no you twit. Don't even want to go on here.

McCain – the only real problem I have with him is Iraq I don't think we pull out immediately but he want's to stay forever. He's a guy I respect and if he could swing to me for health care and some other thing's I could grow to accept him by far the best of the republican's. Though I do fear him jumping the gun an military action in the future as well as the present.

Obama - pull out of troops by march 11th I want troops out of Iraq as well but this is just too much too soon. Forcing insurance for anyone under 18 while a good idea you have to help people pay for that how is that going to come by raising the minimum wage? Give me a break who can live with a kid on what 7 something an hour yeah right. Unlike McCain who may be to tough obama seems to wimpy he won't even challenge Hillary and doesn't always speak well I know it sounds petty but look how dumb bush look's to the rest of the world half the time.

Edwards – Edwards I like triple earned income tax credit, protect from predatory lender's though he is pro union which is a strike in my book. Wants to ban nuclear power plants ummm yeah that's a bad idea… I don't like the fact he wants all American's by law to have health care yet doesn't say how though do like the high end tax cut elimination. Again he wants everyone out of Iraq in a year I think we need to get out just not to quick or we'll be right back in a month.

Clinton – I love that she wants to shit all over the oil companies to get them to do something and think that's the only way to do it. I don't like that she's already talking into second term for health care that's a little long for me. Though her plan look's o.k. on paper to little to late though in my opinion. Hilary wants the fence come on no damn fence. I like the openness of pulling troops out it'll happen just don't know exactly how soon. That's the best strategy. I also like the fact bill will be there you can't tell me he won't have his hand in thing's as well as being able to help navigate the water's two head's are better then one.

5) Actual issues – immigration why is this such an issue? Wasn't our country based on the principle of letting people in? Most of the time these poor people do the work the rest of us don't want to do and do it cheaper. So what is the problem? I have been pushed aside and lost a job because they would do the job cheaper and yeah it sucked but it wasn't there fault it was the fault of the company for not holding onto the longer employed person over the new cheap labor force. They pay taxes to hell they pay more taxes then we do in the end. Why spend my money to build a fence to keep them out and then take the land from our people to put the fence up like they are doing in Texas. Now do I believe we should have a second language no but most of the people who come over are hard working good individuals who just want a better life for them and there's.

Same sex marriage – again why is this a damn issue if two people want to get married go for it. They want to adopt good for them don't complain about the system that leaves kids out in the system when there are people who want to take care of them and create a family so it's not what you have in mind who cares. Gay does not mean child molester and if two men or two women want to get married and adopt a child more power to them it helps out everyone in the end.

Economy – it's in the toilet gas is to high and is crippling this country highbreds may be the answer some day but I can't afford to go out and buy a new car at these prices. So for the time being bring my heating oil and gas prices down. How is it gas hit's all time high's for barrel's and there talking $4.00 a gallon and when they say they're going to investigate all of a sudden gas prices go down while price per barrel keep's going up? The oil industry makes money hand over fist and is raping us it's not a dependence on foreign oil it's the greedy fucker's we have right here on our border's.

That's it I'm done for now our country is fucked in so many way's and us lower to whatever the hell they call middle class people can't survive much longer give us better answer's we don't necessarily need free health care but strengthen our plans so when we get sick we can go to the doctor. Some plans call for preventative type thing's well you can't tell people not to eat there hamburger's one day and complain the economy is in the toilet the next. Yes we are the fattest nation in the world and that doesn't help but that isn't the only problem when people can't go to the doctor when they get sick because they can't afford it, it's not covered, or we can't afford to take off from work. Then our bills rise and we file ofr bankruptcy and everyone is hurt in the end. One thing leads to another and right now its snow balling something needs to change to fix it. I won't claim to have all the answer's if I did hell I'd be running but I do know what we have now doesn't work for people like me and for most of who is reading this. I just hope we figure something out soon…..

Alright here we go let's face it the question isn't if he did it or if he will be convicted and or suspended by the league. he's out he'll never play in the nfl again. So why has he not been released yet. It's simple contract language. If he is suspended by the league and goes to jail he can't play. if he can't play then atlanta can come back after him for his signing bonus from before. (we are talking something like 30 million dollars) that they can recoup. If they release him straight up he still get's the cash and doesn't have to play. can they go after him well yes will they win nope. If they keep him on the team they almost forsure get that money back. so basicaly vick doesn't play and has to pay back the money. or he get's released atlanta has to pay him (which hurt's the team for something this idiot did) plus the moron still get's the money for getting into trouble and doing nothing in games. Why is it that everyone think's there baby is the prettiest baby ever. i know it's the proud parent thing but let's face it atleast for the first few week's they all basicaly look the same and that's kinda funny. there red, some have hair some don't, kinda chubby little cheek's there all well kinda funny looking. then they get a little older and they start to develope there own look and everyone then say's ohh my kids the cutest and blah blah blah i know more ugly/ funny looking kids then i do pretty ones. and by the time there in that 7 to 10 age group they are actual people lol. and then it's even harder to keep a straight face when someone with one of these ugly ass kids goes ohh aren't they cute. i don't like confrontation so i just say yeah o.k. or what is deanna alway's say's i say ooooo. kay.. so if you want me to lie to you then please by all means ask me how cute your kid is.....

Alright a man that i respected that realy can't decide what side of the fence he is on. As for hos war service and everything he went through i send out my sincerest thanks and respect. But and it is a big one how can you say in one sentence roe v. wade should be overturned by the courts (making abortion illegal) and then go on to say that gay marriage should be a decision made on a state by state basis? I expect my staunch republicans to fall one side of the fence not the other. I disagree with both statements is abortion right for me and mine maybe maybe not depends on circumstance but i would never say bob's wife can't do it or that at 15 year old after being raped can't do itor any number of other cases. As for gay marriage i don't realy care why should i now i don't think we should force the church to do it but why should a couple that has been together ten twenty thirty years not be afforded the same tax rights, as well as many other rights as the rest of us. If a same sex couple was together or any couple was together for say 20 years and one got sick and or died the other has no right to say what happens with the body or what treatment they should have or when it is time to pull the plug it goes to there parents and or children. I went through this one with my uncle he was with the same woman for over 20 years and in the end the decision went to his daughter instead of his spouse. IS that not completely rediculouse imagine if it was a small child say my mom and dad were gone and me and holly had never been married and i was sick they would go to my children even though me and holly have been together what ten years now my kids are five and six they can't make those decisions nor should they ever have to. even at 16 17 or 18 they shouldn't have to. That's why legaly binding a couple together is important i don't care if they are gay straight black or blue these things are important. It doesn't have to be about religion i could care less about that side of it it's about legal and not legal in these while they seem extreme circumstances that come up every day over and over again. You can say common law this and common law that but in all reality common law atleast in this state is way over stated and i don't even believe it's recognized. global warming is it realy from us? look at the history of the world we have been going through climate changes since the begining of time ice ages, heating and cooling periods left and right it's just the way it is now do i believe our polutants are having some harsh side effects on us as a peole as well as our planet yes but let's not jump out and say we are killing the earth there's a fine line we are only helping it along. And mother nature is a pretty tough beotch she'll kick back when need be.

Aliens hells yes there's aliens come on people look up in the sky and tell me there is no other planet anywhere that can support life they found signs of water on mars as well as micro biology umm may not be were we are but you know what there the building blocks of life to think no other planet can support an inteligent race is just stupid. There's an equation out there what was it i believe it's the drake equation that takes into account the number of solar systems by planets like ours and factors in some other shit and then gives you a estimate of planets that can support life. give it a google there's even a drake equation calculator with some astronomical numbers in there. Just makes sense to me. Think about how far along we could be right now if we didn't have our memories wiped out every few hundred years. And we shared technology even today between countries to achieve a common goal. What i mean by memories wiped out if you look all through history we have destroyed and lost knowledge think of were architecture could be if we started with the pyramids that we still aren't 100% sure how they made egyptians also had batteries, and primitive computers (look it up no shit) and advanged irigation techniques that got lost along the way. Along with a hot air balloon that's fucking flight long before we ever thought about it take that knowledge and build on it instead of loose / destroy (library of alexandria) and think were we could be today and how far advanced were will we be in 100 years as far as technology now magnify that by 20 or 30 and you have some idea of were we could be compared to were we are and were another planet could be if they were only around as long as we have been though they could be millions of years ahead of us technologicaly.

We are constantly discovering new animals and creatures and sea life every day why not. The gorrillas we sse in zoos weren't discovered till 1901 with more species coming every few years or so since inclugin 1996 marmoset and giant gorrilla or super gorrilla in 04, or the giant squid which was just pictured last year for the first time. or skeletons of Homo floresiensis (the hobbit) constant discovery's all through time and big foot isn't just hear it has many names in many countries and cultures now does that mean the movies you have seen on them are real no but even in this day and age there's some believed to be in tibet and amny other remote places around the world were people have either never been or are vary rarely. Think about it just for a second so many cultures many of them remote (remember while everyone you know has a t.v. many places like tibet don't they still live in relative isolation. and with so much area why not there are places on this earth that have only barely been discovered and barely been loked through. Bigfoot - Mapinguary - Sasquatch - Yeti - Yowie call it what you want one day we'll find one.

what's in my yard

Alright i don't know what the hell it was but the other night it was about 3 am i went outside to roll up the wifes windows and i heard this scream come from down behind my house. Anyone who know's my house know's that i have a realy big back yard. And it realy sounded like a woman so much so that i almost called the cops it went on for about 10 minutes and i kept waiting to hear stop or help come out but it was just short burst screams. Like someone screaming at the top of there voice every 10 to 20 seconds. There's a dog around (though not sure were) that was also freaking out it would bark a few times and then you would hear this thing scream again. And i swear to god it was a woman though like i said it didn't make any works just shreaking blood curdling screams. Originaly i thought that it was a hawk but two things kind of threw me off from that the first was the fact that it sounded deaper a hawk almost sounds like a woman screaming but it's more shrill then what i heard. This had more girth more body more "size" to it then the typical bird and wasn't as high pitched. THe second thing is when it started to go away it didn't go fast and sounded more like it was coming from the ground then from the air. A hawk would have taken off and faded out much faster then this this sounded like a woman screaming as she was walking away. I heard nothing rustling though by the size of my yard and were this was and went i wouldn't hear anything like that it was farther away then that. It then moved up over the hill (again if you know my house over by brians about half way between there house and his parents) and away towards the river. I've realy heard nothing like this and was looking for some explination so much so i have been calling around about missing persons and anything that would have been reported on a scanner. There are lots of animals around this area though again it didn't sound like anything i have heard before and i've heard most if not all of them in the almost 20 years i have lived here. to be honest it's like nothing i have ever heard before. Any ideas????? And yes we have gone through the normal culprits and even joked about bigfoot. but hey you can state your case either way. Again it was close enough to a woman that i thought about running down there/ calling the cops though the time frame (3:00 to 3:30 on a monday morning) and the area (there's not alot of people roaming that area at any time we're talking about 15 or 20 a year and those are me and my kids and people i know) i realy don't know.....

Alright every once in a while i just kind of go off on tangents and i think this is going to be one of those times. I just start reading shit and it pisses me off. So here we go.

1) google is the fucking devil - I can't find a god damn thing on google any more even porn and you used to be able to find porn everywhere but now that they own half the internet if you look up comething it takes you to fucking you tube or some other god awful thing they control. Then they have the nerve to attack windows for unfair practices. You are trying to take over the world you fucking idiot's Whne is enough enough. Along with how you are going to pay for it. here's the answer first you setup cap's for the drug companies they sell the shit cheaper to other countries so why can't they sell them cheaper to us. two open up the canadian drug trade yeah yeah yeah i get it they don't have the restrictions we have who cares there drugs are ceaper so this helps with the cost. As for research when did we stop just fucking caring about our fellow man if it isn't a child or a hot teen girl then we don't care what happens to them you can yell about bill gates all you want but you know what between him and buffett they are contributing more to the world hearth and research if you take two of the worlds richest men in the world and they give half there money for research and developement well geuss what some shit will get done. 7) the man is now the woman - you know what more and more dad's are staying home with the kids (me being one of them) with the price of health care, daycare, and well just fucking food you can't afford to have children and two working parents if they don't have decent job's my wonderful wife works hard and can make more money then i can so i stay home. but you fuckers out there that think that means i don't do anything are sadly mistaken ask any house wife (yeah i need to do more laundry and cleaning but i'm working on it) how hard it is. I do a large majority of the cooking, put the kids to bed, and make sure they don't kill each other (at my house that's a job all in it's own) along with other shit to say i or others like me don't do anything is both nieve and stupid. You find me a baby sitter for two kids 8 hours a day 5 day's a wekk for $20 i'll get a job tomorow. I know others in the same types of situations but you know what i worked two jobs more then once so my wife could work her way through college and i was and am fine with that if i could make the dough i would and she could stay home. So the next time i hear well grant didn't do anything today yeah look around you idiot i also do odd jobs and things to bring in a little money around here and save us about 600 to 1,000 a month in fucking child care bills.

I have a very old friend and actualy someone i kind of admire for her strength and inteligence but our views on things from all i know are well night and day is putting it mildly is this a problem? I respect her and those views as alot of you know most people either love what i have to say or hate it but either way i still respect the other side. (even if i think they are crazy) so does it cause problems? i mean realy i don't ask people to believe the way i do as a matter of fact i like it better when they don't if for no other reason then to believe either i can change there mind, or we can have some realy great fight's/ discussions on everything and that i like. Alright this going to be kind of persoanl and probably just sappy and all that so if you have anything negative to say i just realy don't wanna fucking hear it. Post something yelling at me anywhere but here and i'm cool though in fact i encourage it.

I lost my father a few years back we had a realy rocky relationship to say the least. Things weren't that great between us but when he got sick i was there for him the only way i knew i could and helped to take care of him for the last month of his life, and was there to see him take his last breathe. I went into this tunnel vision thing were nothing around me was realy real and i have to say that i truly look at my wife and say thank you for giving me the space to try and deal as well as for not leaving me because many people would have the way i dealt with it. I never realy told her thank you for that and i probably should she can be and usualy is a pain in the butt. But i owe her alot and love her more then she know's.

Now today i got a scare my Dad the man who raised me into the man and person i am today got sick i got a call and well let's just say thng's weren't great. Even at 30 i am not ready to lose a second man in my life it was beyond me to loose the first and i can not and will not cope well with a second. Now i would have to put the face on for the rest of my family and my boy's but that only last's so long. I've seen alot and been through alot in my years here on this earth and well realy i'm just ready for a break. I want to go through a striaght let's say 5 years without a cancer, or a death my heart just can't take any more. Anyone who know's my dad know's that he's the type of guy who would lay down in the street for his family. Again like my last post we don't see eye to eye all the time but he's someone i have the utmost love and respect for. And while he can still throw my stomach into a tissy at times i love him dearly. We've become much closer actualy since he moved away lol we talk more as adults and as friends then we ever did before and i'm just not ready to not call him 2 or 3 times a day to ask how he is or how to or how not to do something and hear about my punctuation or lack there of on myspace. (yeah i'm trying) Alot of you know my dad and have seen the ups and downs but also know what i am saying is true love him or hate him no one will say he isn't the guy who made me who i am and didn't take care of me and mine and respect him if for nothing else then that. I geuss at times i have to play the strong one and sitting here tonight i feal pretty weak and am not ready to be the rock again. I will if i have to but i realy don't want to i'm just not ready to say good bye to one of my best friends and my dad not now not yet.

I know that this post is about 180 from what i usualy do but tonight i just kinda needed to vent and let some thing's out before i face the day tomorow. And no matter what happens then i'll be ready to do what i have to do but for tonight i'm just going to take a moment to myself and say i love yah man. And damn it you better be alright.

Holly posted something like this but I started the whole thing and saw everything so I'll start at the beginning. After the fireworks everyone went inside for ice cream and i stayed outside to finish my beer. I was looking into the sky watching all the other firework's going on around my house when i saw a big red well best way to describe it is bright almost square in the sky to my left. I watched it for a few minutes fly closer then disappear. Not under the tree line or the horizon just poof gone. I thought huh that was funny. Then a second came from the exact same place and did the exact same thing. By this point i was thinking to myself is anyone else fucking seeing this but i was kind of in shock and just chocked it up to weird and went along with my beer. About two minutes later the same type of light showed up again from about were the first two went. Then a second, then a third, then a fourth flying in a straight line formation over the tree line (not low high up in the sky) then the first disappeared into thin air like the two before had. Holly's brother and mom came out at this point and i said get over here you have to see this and i told him to hurry so he didn't miss it. He saw the second in line do the same thing as the first then the third followed then the fourth. by the last two holly's mom had come out and was watching with us. Everyone else started to come out at this point when 2 more came from the same direction but this time in a big triangle pattern. yet still taking the same route as the first four. At this point a plane through well best way i can say it is about through the triangle. (Though i don't know distances involved) IF you have seen a plane at night they blink but they blink white and blue some times red these weren't blinking at all they were solid like well kind of like a fireball. (Or fire square) there was definition there though you could see the main source. The plane and these object's were really not even close to the same thing. About this time the first side of the triangle had reached the point the other four had earlier and poof it was gone then the point did the same thing and finally the third followed. I told everyone were they and originally come from and some one said helicopters. To which my response was 3 fold 1) no blinking light's, red light's that aren't a spot. (While I use the word lights again it was more like the whole thing was glowing almost like a fireball not like lights on an object.) 2) Why would 7 helicopters in formation be going to well Glenwood. And 3) they were too high and to fast to be helicopters. Now i know some are saying satellites but these weren't moving at satellite speed and were far lower, didn't disappear on the horizon and were flying the wrong way for satellites. (from what i have seen in the past) Now about this time i was telling everyone were i had seen the first two when i still thought I my eye's were playing tricks on me or i had just seen to many damn x-files episodes. When someone else spotted yet another one coming from the original direction were i saw the first two come from but this time a plane came from the other direction and looked like it was trying to "intercept it" then the light sped up not a normal speed up it sped up quick as if to get rid / get away from the plane. Right about when the plane looked to be getting close enough to it poof it was gone. By this point i noticed allot of air traffic (3 or 4 planes flying around were they were and were they had gone) then they flew the direct other direction like they were looking for something. And you could really tell what we had seen weren't no god damn planes or helicopter's. And like i said it felt like they were looking for something. Now there were 2 kids and let's see me, holly, holly's brother, holly's mom, and two of her friends out there watching this shit so 8 people all staring up at the sky with no idea of what we were seeing. All i know is it wasn't no plane, satellite, or helicopter.. To give some perspective to anyone who has seen my house we were in the side yard. (facing the house the left opposite side of gabes house) The first two and last one came from we'll say flying j / Millard and disappeared towards Council Bluffs. When the 4 in line and the 3 in a triangle disappeared they were flying out past Glenwood right over the tree line. And disappeared right before they hit my house in that line and just showed up right around curt and bonnies house (brians mom and dad) So they appeared and disappeared out of no were picture looking towards brians house from my side yard and that's were they disappeared though they were much farther out and farther up but that direction. All planes that were "searching" in this thing followed the normal flight path from sac which is Louisville then Nebraska city and back around to sac then after they were gone they went over us and out towards Louisville. (all 3) with one going higher and staying around the same area that the other's had disappeared. We tried to take pictures and we got two though honestly without a major zoom they look like red dot's in the sky though i am sure holly will post them or i will. You really can't tell the scale or distance that we are talking about one look's like a tiny red dot. The other looks like a bigger red dot though they are dark and you have to really look to see them. Maybe i'll look for a way to upload them without making them smaller so you can try and see what we saw though believe me it's really not the same effect.

Madden- of course is alway's good you just can't go wrong there (but the p.c. version was much much better)

fear- is the shit this game kicks ass i had to get it on ps3 even after i beat it on the p.c. and still jumped a few times play it in the dark it's better that.

1) cover art and shit is realy cool when you get into it with the glasses what a great fucking concept once you open it up you realy get into it. and fun for the whole family.
2) as usual the c.d. is meant as a c.d. not as single songs. have to listen to it as a whole for a while to completely appreciate the greatness of the c.d.
3) it is tool if you are expecting nice pretty little songs then well go back and listen to the other c.d.'s and you'll realize it's not going to happen. Think more along the lines of a rock opera or musical then as 12 songs with a catchy chorus.
4) i see now why it's not on itunes or anything like that when you listen to it it's realy meant as one hour and 20 minute voyage/ song even more then the other c.d.'s they have put out. if you want tool but just the feal without the grandiouse nature of it then go get opiate perfect weening up to this album. to truly appreciate it it will take a while. but i say if you are jsut getting into tool and what they are about then start at the beginning and grow with the band. go get opiate and undertow. to get a grasp of what they do, move on to aenema and lateralus and if you are still craving more move up to 10,000 days.
songs
1) vicariouse - we've all heard it and the intro is meant as a tie in with the last album as you hear semblences of the other c.d.'s all through the c.d. it's meant to be that way so don't fret.
2) Jambi - um the vocals are very diffrent here then most tool stuff but cool. the guitar does this realy weird quick thing that is realy cool and throws way off the 4/4 (believe it's 6/8 )thing not that if you pay attention anything from tool is in 4/4 in the first place. great song pushes right through though it is a little mo0re comercial then i had epected would/ will make a good single though it is tool so clocks in at 7:30 though doesn't feal that long. ohh and frampton comes alive with the talk box not a bad thing though.
3)-wings for marie (part 1) - segway type song feals like it's setting something up to be released slower ballad type even for tool though not the typical i love you type obviously. let's see were part two leads us.
4) - 10,000 days (wings part 2)- part1 one and two realy segway into each other nicely see why there labeled that way. there's some relay rolling bass lines in here. maynard has a monster note hold in there as well. though that's kind of a tool staple.
5) - the pot - yet another diffrent vocal style here higher key. bass line is rolling right along. there's some insane bass and drum work in this one and the groove part is cool but not realy the norm that you are used to think it's an extra note or two in there that changes it up.
6)- lipan conjuring - just from the time of it i can tell it's going to be one of those transition songs. real indian feal to this one (native american not the dot heads)
7) - lost keys (blame hofman) - another transition type song think nine inch nails here sounds like something they would do live. i'm getting the whole this is a concert within a c.d. vibe here if you have ever seen them live then this is the feal of the show and how it's timed out.
8) - rosetta stoned - boom lyrics are just a fucking flurry in the front end realy follows through from lost keys. kind of a rap but umm well yeah very diffrent. if you know tool picture 46 and 2. this song will rock live i can feal it now.
9) - intension - slow song takes you on a little journey here as well as a whole album this thing rocks but don't take the pieces out of the puzzle or it won't be complete.
10) - right in two - starts out slow and about 5 minutes into it something happens and it hits out of no were. this is kind of like another release point for the album. i talked before about listening to it as a whole then you'll get your tension payoffs and this is one of them.
11) - vigniti tres - they have always loved playing with sounds and toys this is that song yeah you know what i mean. though i have to say i wanted a real bring you to your knees type song here and it's not ohh well. would have liked to have ended with rosetta stoned here to make me crave more. instead i realy felt like it was the end. though maybe that was the point.

first impression
after the first listen i have to say it is very impressive but it's definatly a journey and meant to be listened to as a whole not as one or two parts here or there. if you are looking for hookey chorus in a song this is not the place to find it. but if you are truly looking for something to throw on a set of head phones with and go on a journey (purhaps with some medicinal help) this is your c.d. fan's will not be disapointed it's the next logical step for them and as a whole c.d. there is nothing like it out there. it is tool but as alway's it's diffrent from anything you have heard from them. i Know the intro to vicarious sounds like an old friend to start with but trust me this album is all new and takes alot of risks with much reward if given the chance. Doesn't have the instant love of lateralus but i can see and appreciate what they are doing here and i love it. and as i listen to it more i will love it even more. I was expecting some more heavy 46 and 2 type stuff from the early things i had heard. so don't walk into it thinking straight ahead assault like i was. My perdiction is that it will be a classic album though not a single maker. tool is happy were they are and with there loyal fans who will walk off a bridge if asked. If you weren't a fan before this won't make you one but go back a c.d. or two and get a runing start before trying to devour this monster of a c.d. i am now and will alway's remain a loyal fan -Grant

I get the reason and the need for censorship on regular t.v. realy i do. Even on the radio especialy the pop stations which are usualy the kids first segway into music. be able to hear a c.d. or play a game until you are 18 i believe is a little extreme if you can't comprehend something is fantasy by say 16 even 14 then you don't have a firm grip on reality and wont have one at 18 either. On top of that why is it o.k. to see all the blood and violence on t.v. but we can't see or hear anything about sexuality. i think watching someone lose a finger on the evidence (which is so bad it should be censored in the first place for good viewing violations) is more disturbing then my kids seeing boobs on another show. Why is there such a double standard there? i just don't get it could someone please explain it to me? NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. - A woman confronted a neighbor accused of sexually assaulting her 7-year-old son and threatened to call police, but then accepted $600 in hush money and let the man molest the boy again, authorities said.
The 30-year-old woman was charged Tuesday with capital sexual battery and child abuse. The neighbor, Nicholas Quiles, 48, has been charged with capital sexual battery. Both are being held without bail.
The alleged sexual assaults happened the first two weeks of February, Lt. Jeffrey Harrington said.
The boy told his 11-year-old sister that Quiles did “bad things to him,” the girl told detectives. An anonymous tip led investigators to the neighbor and mother.
The boy, his sister and their toddler brother were removed from their home, Harrington said. There is no evidence so far that the other children were sexually abused, he said.
“There are definitely oddities to this case,” Harrington said. “I hope we never have to investigate anything like this again.”

I understand the concept of god in an ancient system you do this you go to hell you do this you go to heaven but what about today? Why must we still use these ancient laws? Maybe I’m putting this wrong I don't want to get off on the wrong foot here I have no problems with god nor do I have any problems with faith true faith that is......... My problem comes with the organizations that say this is the way it is this is what you can and cannot do who are they to tell me why I am going to hell? Do they speak to god? Do they here his words? Some can say they read it in the bible but was the bible not written by man? And so forth aren't his words written by man? Not only men but also men with third and fourth hand accounts..... Then in turn written out by scribes..... How can I trust this information? How can you trust this information or miss information? The bible is like an elaborate script which could even by a long stretch of the imagination be used as a guide but mostly it is to strike fear into people....... Does this mean I hate god why no on the contrary god and the belief in him in it's pristine state is nothing short of amazing... does this mean I believe in god well to be honest no I lost that faith but wish I could rescue it from my Sinicism...... Are you confused don't worry I will try to explain as best I can and give some things I think are useful in daily life in our time not an ancient one.......

We have so many different people telling us so many different things and so many of these people tell us that if we don't believe what they believe we go to hell. Why? Why would I go to hell because of one thing or another? And who are they to set these rules for me? If I believe in Christianity then what I can go to hell as long as I don't have sex with another man or with a woman before I’m married for that matter... I cannot love without gods blessing? Don’t I have his blessing now for just being a good person? Do Christians actually know how many people do not believe in there version of the truth in religion. About 10% of the worlds population believes in the traditional sort of god that is written out by Christianity.... then go to the good Christians and I’m sure that is about 10% of them.... so the other 90% of Christians go to hell and the other 90% of the worlds population... does that sound right to you? Yeah I didn't think so... that's not even going into Mormons, Lutherans, Jehovah witnesses, Catholics, Christians, act... so all Jews Buddhist’s and the like go to hell plus the other people believing in all the other world religions.... are you telling me ghondi is in hell for not believing in god? Or the other dahli lamma's before the current one are all in hell? How can these people be in hell the most amazing peace loving people who dedicate there lives to peace and happiness for all people are now as we speak suffering in hell... I think this is silly no wait sad make that... to think that because you believe something someone else doesn't they are evil... if there is a god and remember I don't believe but I want to so if there is a god then I would want my god to except all people of all religions including myself and why do I get to go to heaven I have done nothing inherently bad... nothing that I could see going to hell for if I did or if I do then I would surely expect to go.........

Katrina Rant

Everyone remembers 9/11 and the tragedy that accured even columbine now we have katrina. Why does this not seem to be effecting people in the same way. More people will or have died then in both combined. Is it becouse we couldn't see it happen and there wasn't that shock and aww factor of the other two events? Add to the fact that these people who actualy did escape now have no place to go september 11th was 2 buildings katrina was closer to a nuclear bomb blast think heroshima. OR is the problem that we have just become hardened to the bad things and numb to them? All the people who got in a huff over farenheit 9/11 should be 10 times more pissed about the lack of response with katrina. The fact that instead of putting power back to the city they first had to get power to the oil refineries pushing back essential services for days so we could still pay $3.00 a gallon for gas instead of worrying about the people who remained in the city. And to top it off former first lady barbara bush said "What I’m hearing which is sort of scary is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality."
