This is in fact what happens when i am bored the god essay

I understand the concept of god in an ancient system you do this you go to hell you do this you go to heaven but what about today? Why must we still use these ancient laws? Maybe I’m putting this wrong I don't want to get off on the wrong foot here I have no problems with god nor do I have any problems with faith true faith that is......... My problem comes with the organizations that say this is the way it is this is what you can and cannot do who are they to tell me why I am going to hell? Do they speak to god? Do they here his words? Some can say they read it in the bible but was the bible not written by man? And so forth aren't his words written by man? Not only men but also men with third and fourth hand accounts..... Then in turn written out by scribes..... How can I trust this information? How can you trust this information or miss information? The bible is like an elaborate script which could even by a long stretch of the imagination be used as a guide but mostly it is to strike fear into people....... Does this mean I hate god why no on the contrary god and the belief in him in it's pristine state is nothing short of amazing... does this mean I believe in god well to be honest no I lost that faith but wish I could rescue it from my Sinicism...... Are you confused don't worry I will try to explain as best I can and give some things I think are useful in daily life in our time not an ancient one.......

We have so many different people telling us so many different things and so many of these people tell us that if we don't believe what they believe we go to hell. Why? Why would I go to hell because of one thing or another? And who are they to set these rules for me? If I believe in Christianity then what I can go to hell as long as I don't have sex with another man or with a woman before I’m married for that matter... I cannot love without gods blessing? Don’t I have his blessing now for just being a good person? Do Christians actually know how many people do not believe in there version of the truth in religion. About 10% of the worlds population believes in the traditional sort of god that is written out by Christianity.... then go to the good Christians and I’m sure that is about 10% of them.... so the other 90% of Christians go to hell and the other 90% of the worlds population... does that sound right to you? Yeah I didn't think so... that's not even going into Mormons, Lutherans, Jehovah witnesses, Catholics, Christians, act... so all Jews Buddhist’s and the like go to hell plus the other people believing in all the other world religions.... are you telling me ghondi is in hell for not believing in god? Or the other dahli lamma's before the current one are all in hell? How can these people be in hell the most amazing peace loving people who dedicate there lives to peace and happiness for all people are now as we speak suffering in hell... I think this is silly no wait sad make that... to think that because you believe something someone else doesn't they are evil... if there is a god and remember I don't believe but I want to so if there is a god then I would want my god to except all people of all religions including myself and why do I get to go to heaven I have done nothing inherently bad... nothing that I could see going to hell for if I did or if I do then I would surely expect to go.........

Without attempting to piss people off but I’m sure I already have but guess what I don't give a fuck... the only real good religion or belief system is that of the Buddhist’s... and why you ask because they don't judge it's the only religion I have found that even if you don't believe you are still good you are not damned you don't end your life and go to hell... does that mean everyone should follow this belief structure no I don't think so but from what I have seen these people are the people that the Christians claim to be and try to achieve but never seem to quite get there.... but again they go to hell..... So what is my point I mean really what is it what do I want... I want people to think don't give up god or budha just think that's all I ask... think about it not what good it does you... does it make you feel better to go and praise god in a church and then 10 minutes later what happens you are yelling at someone on the freeway... good and how did we get like this it's learned we are taught from the beginning that god is the key and maybe he is but I can tell you that religion in it's current form is not..... It is not and never has been good.... why do I say that go read a little history or better yet just watch the news... what will you find people dying and killing for god, Allah, all of these gods these beliefs.... the crusades, the inquisitions hello think about it even desert storm was attempted to be made into a religious war and all for what my god can kick your gods ass is that really what we want our god to do?

The Christians hate the Jews cause they killed Christ the Jews are pissed because the Christians didn't care when there great white hope Adolph Hitler started systematically exterminating the Jews... don't believe me do a little home work (hitlers pope) and see what you say then.... and why people are people damn it no better nor worse for what they believe in color race or creed.... look at Ireland hello there fighting a never ending war and over what yep you guessed it religion so now what we can kill another person who doesn't believe what we believe in well if that's true I have a list of about 20 people right of the top of my head that I have on my new hit list and since I do it in the name of religion then it's o.k. No it's not o.k. Damn it why do we have to kill for god or any other figure for that matter? Is this what was intended do you really believe that if you think the bible tells us to or gives us the right to attack and kill other human beings for there actions or there beliefs then fine... even in our own country we kill for god hello look at the abortion doctors some Christian fundamentalist decides he must die why because he doesn't believe in the same thing as the man outside well then let's kill him.... so you just took a life for god... I don't want to debate the right to life movement it's not my bag but for or against you should not kill for this or anything else for that matter. Why does this make you so much better then anyone else hell if anything it makes you worse go buy some Prozac and go the fuck home you freak..........

How many people truly have to die for this one minute point for god or for any other omnipotent being for that matter I’ll tell you exactly zero.... and to add to this little line of us hating all other religions we'll go back to Tibet the home of the dahli lamma when Tibet was taken over what exactly did we do ummmmmm let me see here not a damn thing china came in and took it over kicking out the Tibet people and trying to reprogram them from there belief structure yes killings also and what did we do? Can anyone tell me I sure can not a damn thing and why because they weren't the right religion so we didn't and to this day still don't give a shit but hey don't get me started on that one either we will be here for years... but yet when kosovo has the same thing happen there we are to jump in...... Or Hitler with the Jews again I use this because it is the most embedded in my brain what the fuck took us so long to jump in there do you really think if mister pope the shit head decided we should all band together that that would have gone as far as it did... all because of a small man who hated his mother ohh yes hitters mom was a Jew and so forth it's all connected and we did nothing... go look at the pictures of what happened to those poor people and tell me we shouldn't have been there years before we even tried to help them.... if anything is a sin that should be it.......

And speaking of sin if there is to be no more religion then what the hell is a sin these days well I’ll give you the big one don't fucking kill each other I mean come on gay people should go to hell why because they found love with another person of there same sex hell I love people of the same sex not that way but hell that's there choice does it make them worse people then me and you if you think that I got some swamp land I’d like to sell you real cheap maybe you'd like to buy it or maybe a nice bridge out in Brooklyn..... Come on people get it together what else sex before marriage I don't think so it's just an extension of love and the showing of feeling do people just have sex to enjoy it hell yeah I know I do but does it still show strong feelings of love affection and just desire yes and is desire wrong.... I don't think so hell it makes us feel better and have a better opinion about our selves... unless you are really screwed up...the sins I see aren't even mentioned beating your kids, standing ideally by while others are hurting, inflicting pain on another’s, not thinking about what we are and what we are doing or just plain not thinking hell I would put ignorance above damn near any sin I can think of... it's common sense if it hurts someone else don't fucking do it other wise have a good time and don't analyze it will you go to hell no... Love one another and do what you can to help those people you love...

I really don't think I’m asking for so much all I want is for this whole thing to be rethought out it was a good idea just poorly executed religion is poison it hurts it kills it does no good in the world but gives week people a fucking crutch when they feel sorry for themselves or when things go wrong... am I saying don't believe in god no I would never do that. But am I saying that we should give up on these organizations yes I am and the books of fiction they base there faith on and try to interpret and badly interpret they do hell for all we know the bible could have been written as a children’s book I mean really think about it what are children’s books used for teaching lessons and what is the bible used for the same damn thing so throw it down and go get yourself cat in the hat he will teach you the same things..... If there is a god he will understand and he will know that you were a good person if in fact you were a good person and it didn't matter to him that you believed or you went to church every week to give 20% of all you own to the church bull shit you take my money and you better get me a new house with it or at least a car...... I just want to see these things gone religion is just so destructive when it was meant to help people get to out of hand with the whole thing hell we elect a president by his religion these days that should tell you something......... it's a game and we have all become the pawns well you have not me chief..... Katrina Rant

Everyone remembers 9/11 and the tragedy that accured even columbine now we have katrina. Why does this not seem to be effecting people in the same way. More people will or have died then in both combined. Is it becouse we couldn't see it happen and there wasn't that shock and aww factor of the other two events? Add to the fact that these people who actualy did escape now have no place to go september 11th was 2 buildings katrina was closer to a nuclear bomb blast think heroshima. OR is the problem that we have just become hardened to the bad things and numb to them? All the people who got in a huff over farenheit 9/11 should be 10 times more pissed about the lack of response with katrina. The fact that instead of putting power back to the city they first had to get power to the oil refineries pushing back essential services for days so we could still pay $3.00 a gallon for gas instead of worrying about the people who remained in the city. And to top it off former first lady barbara bush said "What I’m hearing which is sort of scary is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality."

There you have it in a society were they wont show coffins or body bags come home so that we wont boycott the war unlike what the public saw during vietnam making it a very unpopular war by seeing what was realy happening every night on the news we are being sheltered or is it lied to? Come on people the war (or should i say wars remember we are still loosing people in affganistan as all this is happening) is a joke, the katrina effort wasn't even an effort, they ignored constant threats before 9/11 i give up anything else this guy has to do before something changes. One side note why is it that i still see bill clinton trying to help people before bush he was at ground zero first, he is trying to rework the world bank, he is working for the g8 summitt to help end extreme poverty, he was helping with the last hurricane relief effort. Why does it seem the only president we have doing anything is the one who is not only out of office but was impeached. Yeah bush rules.
